Los Alamos, New Mexico Our conference this year featured pianist/composer Dennis Alexander, Janet Hopkins from the Metropolitan Opera, Julianne Miranda, Robert Steinbauer, duo pianists Madeline Williamson & Edwin Light, Craig Ottenstein, M.D., and the Hot Flashes piano quartet. This year a new student activity, Music Bowl, was unveiled.
2007 PMTNM State Conference * November 9 - 11 Our conference this year featured pianist Keith Snell. Snell presented a master class as well as a recital featuring piano works for the left hand. Other clinicians included Jeanne Grealish, NCTM, Charlene Cox-Clifton, NCTM, Ruth Williamson. Saturdays activites were student centered with a master class with Keith Snell, a composition workshop presented by Michael Mauldin, an accompanying workshop with Sharon Kunitz, NCTM, and a Sketch Presentation/Ensemble recital featuring our students. |
